I attached these beautiful Peridot stones to sterling silver frames that were carefully textured, shaped by hand, and hammered. The earwires were handcrafted and decorated with delicate wire wrapping. All metal has been oxidized (darkened) and hand-polished for added character and style.
PERIDOT is the traditional stone for 16th wedding anniversaries. It’s the August birthstone, aligned with the zodiac sign of Leo. It stands for clear thinking and a good heart, and symbolizes light. In ancient times, it was believed that peridot’s bright sparkle could ward off evil during the night.
